We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We started our Saturday with going downto Tuscawilla park for the PAAS easter egg hunt that they do every year. This was the first year I had ever gone and I thought it was amazing! I couldn't believe everything was free! Macie went on her first pony ride, decorated a cookie, dyed a egg, train ride, played at the park and even participated in an egg hunt. She got about 30 eggs and could not wait to get home to bust them open. She looked sooo cute in the easter bunny hat. What a great event! Wewill definatley gonext year! After we went to the PAAS easter egg hunt we headed down tomy moms house for her easter party. The kids had such a blast playing in the water (except Macie didn't seem to like the cold). My mom stuffed sooo many eggs for the kids so we headed down to the park for an egg hunt.I swear Macie got about 50 eggs or more!!!! They had play dough, stickers and candy in them! Mom mom (this is what Macie calls my mom) also gave her a backpack full of goodies for easter. What a great day we had. Everything was great. My mom like always made wonderful food and made everything so nice.
Easter morning came quickly since we didn't get home until late on Saturday night ... Macie woke up and was excited about her basket. However, she was extremely excited about daddy's basket because she picked out everything in there for him. It was so cute to see her shopping for her daddy. She new exactly what things he likes (pringles, gatorade, new bathingsuit, sweet tarts etc). She seemed to love everything in her basket. After Macie and Michael opened their baskets we ate breakfast and then went outside for a family walk down to the park.We then came home and left again to meet up with Kelly and Justin to see the ducks and have a easter egg hunt by the pond. Macie of course had a blast because Kohl was there. We then came home and watched general conference and Macie took a nap. After her nap we took a short trip to the pool andthen went to the park and then Macie and I dyed easer eggs together. What a wonderful easter!
