Chocolate for breakfast?

This morning I got a phone call from my mom that woke me up asking me if I wanted chocolate chip pancakes.
I told her that I was ok and went back to sleep. However, a little while later she told me that Rick already made me some and that he was on his way bringing them over. Well Macie had already eaten yogurt and cheerios when the pancakes arrived but I decided that I could not eat chocolate chip pancakes without sharing some with her. She definately enjoyed them! She even posed for a picture! Thanks Pa Pa for the pancakes

My little girl!!!

Macie has been so fun and cute today so I had to snap a couple of pictures! Macie smiles with her mouth wide open... my mom says this is exactly how I was when I was her age. I have tons of baby pictures smiling with my mouth wide open.

Christmas Day!!!

Our Christmas began at 7:30am. Michael and I had to wake Macie up! We wanted to open up our gifts before my mom, Rick and Natalie came over for breakfast. Michael and my mom cooked breakfast for everybody! Our Christmas was relaxing! I think this was the first year ever that I can say that. We basically opened gifts, ate breakfast, took naps and then went over to my mom and Ricks house for Christmas dinner. Macie loved her little kitchen that Santa brought her! We had a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve this year we went over to my dad and Konnies house for lunch and to exchange presents. The kids had a great time and the food was really yummy. As soon as we left there we went straight up to Ocala to spend the rest of Christmas Eve with Michaels family. We made homemade pizzas with Kristin, Allie, Grammie and Poppie. I gotta say that they were better than any other pizza I have ever had. After we made homemade pizzas we exchaged presents. Macie got another new car. This one is Ariel. She was trying to get on it when it was still in the box. She loves it! We had a fun and busy Christmas Eve!

Macie drank her FIRST milk bottle!!!

Macie drank her FIRST milk bottle tonight! I stopped nursing last Wednesday morning and she has refused to drink anything other than juice or water. I was snuggling her tonight to get her asleep and asked Michael to make her a milk bottle (I have been making her one everyday and it has just been a waste), but tonight she drank almost the whole thing. I'm really glad that I gave it another try.

Macie's Christmas Pictures

I took Macie out to my the golf course in my moms nighborhood and took her Christmas pictures. I think they turned out pretty cute! She loved running around on the green and playing in the sand pit!

Fun things to do!

Macie's favorite thing to do for the past couple of weeks is redecorate the Christmas tree.
I hung all of the ornaments that either weren't breakable or the ones that I didn't really care about on the bottom of the tree. I think it is so cute! However, it is hard to get her not to touch other Christmas trees she isn't supposed to touch. Another thing Macie has enjoyed this last week is her climber. I moved her climber into the living room and put the slide in a small blow up pool with balls. Macie loves sliding into the balls. She does it over and over again! She is so much fun!

Macie's trip to see Santa

Today Rhea and I took Macie to see Santa at the Mall of Millenia. I would have already done this weeks ago but Michael insisted he was there. On Monday night Michael, Macie and I drove all the way to Orlando to get pictures with Santa and there was and hour and a half line. Michael of course didn't want to wait and said he wanted me to come back when it wasn't so busy. Rhea and I left early today thinking that there wouldn't be any lines since kids are still in school and it was early in the morning. However, I had to wait in line for an hour. As soon as it was our turn to get pictures Macie fell asleep. I tried to wake her up and she screamed the whole time. On top of everything Michael wanted us to take our own pictures because it was much cheaper. However, I talked to the ladies and asked them if there was any way they would allow us to get something to eat and come back to the front of the line. They agreed and we came back and Macie did much better. She even let Santa hold her! I do not suggest taking your own pictures unless your kid isn't scared of Santa. The first pictures are the ones Rhea took with my camera and the last picture had to be scanned in but is the picture they took. It was well worth it!

Macie's Hard Day!!

She was moving her hand that is why it looks freaky!

Macie has had a really hard day today. She hasn't been feeling well for a week or so and had her 12 month check up today. I was suprised to find out that Macie had a ear infection. She also got 4 shots! On top of all of that I stopped nursing her today! Poor Baby!!! Daddy went to the store and bought her a treat to try to make her feel better. Hopefully we will make it through these next couple of days!!!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

At the Hotel

On Thursday December 11 we went to Mickey's Very Christmas Party. This is a family tradition that we do every year around Christmas time. It is always so much fun! Macie loved Dumbo! We basically got to stay on the rides and ride them as many times as we wanted because there weren't any lines. This is definately the BEST time to go to Disney World. Thanks mom for taking us! We had a blast!

Macie's 1st Birthday Party

Macie's 1st birthday party went great! We had over 50 people come and celebrate her turning 1. We had hay rides, side walk chalk, play dough, ball pits, coloring etc. I could have never pulled it off without my mom and Rhea's help. Rhea made the beautiful cupcakes, cookies and Macie's cake. She did such a great job! She even took Macie a couple of times for me so I could get some things done. Macie loved playing out in the grass, going on the hay ride, playing in the ball pits and eating her cake. My main goal for the party was to make sure Macie had a good time. I didn't want to get caught all up in everything and miss her party. Once 12:00 came around I decided to have a good time and to make sure Macie was safe and having a good time. Thank you everybody that came. We really enjoyed seeing everybody.
