New Years Eve

For new year's eve we went to Yamoto for dinner with some friends and then came home for some sparklers, treats, and play time for the little ones back at our house. Macie and Ava decided they wanted to dress up as snow white for the party. However, at first they got the costumes switched and Macie was in a huge snow white dress and Ava was in a little daisy duke snow white dress. It was too cute! They switched costumes and ran around dressed up all night. We had such a great New Years hanging out with friends.

Maciewoke up so excited Christmas morning. She knew that Santa had come and could not wait to get out of bed. She was so excited to walk out into the living room and see what Santa left for her. She had around 20 gifts plus a stocking to open up from mommy, daddy and Santa. She loved her train table and her pet shops the most! Christmas is even better now that we have her in our lives.

Christmas Eve with Grandma and Pa Pa

Daddy and Mommy (6 months pregnant)
Taking the kiddies for a golf cart ride to spot Sana in the sky!
Christmas Eve afternoon and night we spent at my mom's house. We had such a great time as always! My mom prepared a huge spread of food for all of us kids. The kids got to go on golf cart rides and then we all exchanged gifts! One of Macie's favorite things she got for Christmas was her doll house that pa pa and grandma gave to her. She loves it! We had such a wonderful night. My mom's house looked beautiful as always and really put us in the Christmas mood! Thank you mom and Rick for such a wonderful night!

Christmas Eve with Grampie and Grammie

Christmas eve we went over to my dad's house for lunch and to exchange gifts! Macie had a blast playing with the other kids. She especially enjoyed playing outside with the dogs and at Aunt Kathy's house. We really enjoyed spending time together with the family. What a nice afternoon!

Baking Cookies for Santa

Tasting the cookies!

As soon as Macie woke up on Christmas Eve we decorated cookies for Santa! She was so excited to roll them out and pick out what shape she wanted to make each cookie. She made many candy canes and christmas trees. She also had a blast decorating them. I got all her favorite treats out for her to decorate them with sprinkles, chocolate chips, and M&M's. I left her for just one minute when she was decoarting her cookies to potty and came back and somehow all the cookies that were decorated when I left were undecorated. Macie decided to eat all the chocolate chips and M&M's off of the cookies and not save them for Santa. I just love baking with her! It is messy but it is a blast!

Macie's First In Theater Movie

Michael and I took Macie to see the Princess and the Frog. We got there way too early so she didn't last the whole movie. However, she was great all through the previews and until there was about 30 minutes left of the movie. We had to get her a booster chair to sit in because she is so small that she kept getting folded up in the chair. She had a blast eating popcorn and doritos and drinking soda and Capri suns! I think we will wait until she is a little older to take her to another in theater movie even though she was really good. I think she will enjoy it a little more when she is older.

A Mickey Pinkle Party

Trying out her new bike!

Opening up all her presents!

The whole cake was just for her!

Macie's reaction when everybody was singing to her. I think she enjoyed all the attention.

Decorating cookies!
Playing play dough

This year Macie wanted a Mickey Mouse Pinkle party. Mickey mouse and pinkles are her two favorite things. Pinkles are what Macie calles stars. She gets it from the song twinkle twinkle little star. She tries to say twinkle but it has always came out as Pinkle. So she then started to call all stars Pinkles. Now there are even Pinkle Buses! If Macie sees a fire truck or any other sort of vehicle that has lights on top she shouts out Pinkle Bus! She can spot one from a mile away. She first saw a fire truck at night with its lights on and said mommy pinkles (lights twinkling) and ever since then she has called them pinkle buses!I just love the things she comes up with. She sure does have a cute little personality! Macie's party turned our great! It was supposed to be at the park but because of some crazy December FL weather we had to move it indoors at grammie's house. There was cookie decorating, coloring, movie to watch, cars to ride around the house, play dough, a pinata and some other fun things to keep the kids entertained. Macie loved all the attention she got and had a great time playing with her friends. Of course, she especially liked opening up all her gifts! I think the party turned out to be a huge success.

Macie with prego mommy (I look huge!)

We had such a blast taking Macie to Disney World for her birthday! We based the whole day around Macie! We took her on many rides, let her eat a cupcake in the am, run around etc.! We even invited some of our friends Sam, Kendra and Adi to join us for the day! Macie loves baby Adi and she had a blast running around with her! After Disney we went to PF Changs where she got to open more presents and blow out a candle on her dessert! She was in love with the sweet and sour sauce. At one point she took her fork and starting dipping it in the sauce and eating it. We love her so much and can't believe she is already 2! Time flies! I think she had a great birthday!

The new 2 year olds morning festivities

Macie woke up in such a great mood these last couple of days! That is a unusual for little Macie because she is not a morning chic. She especially woke up in a great mood this morning and was ready for the day. As soon as she opened her eyes she was off to open up some of her presents. She ripped through them and seemed to like everything. She was really excited about the golf clubs and had to show daddy since that is something they do together. After she opened up her presents she ate some grits that mommy tried to hurry and shape into a mickey mouse for her and then we were off to Disney for the day!
