So Michael took Macie and I to the circus and we had a blast! Macie loved seeing all the animals and eating all the treats! Daddy was a sucker for all the treats and each one that past he bought one to share with Macie. Macie's favorite was seeing the elephants. Her favorite movie right now is Dumbo so she kept pointing to the elephants and saying"Dumbo's mommy"! We didn't stay for the whole show because it was absolutely freezing but we sure did have a great time. Thank you daddy for taking us!

First experience with paint

This was Macie's first time painting. I put all her seashells out on some leftover Christmas wrapping paper and thought she would loveto paint them.She painted a few and then decided she would rather paint herself! Painting is definately her new favorite hobby! She loves it!

Play date at the "blue"park

I decided thatI wanted to get together with some friends so Macie could have a fun play date. Macie calls the park here in our neighborhood the "blue" park because obviously it is blue. She had such a blast with her friends. They first played at the park for an hour and a half or so and then ate lunch on the playset. Each kid brought their own riding toy to ride and share so then we all went down to the tennis courts and let the kids ride their toys. Macie helped mommy bake cookies for her friends and then handed them out. She loves sharing treats with friends. What a fun day.

Macie's Style

Macie definately has her own sense of style.She loves to put mine and Michael's socks on which become knee highs on her. She loves he green rain boots and would wear them every day if I let her. She is such a character! I just love her!

Puzzle Crazy

Macie loves doing puzzles right now. She can do many puzzles by herself without any help. We made a game out of these puzzles where she jumps on all the different animals and makes the sounds of each animal that she lands on. I love watching her figure out which pieces fit together and watch her do it by herself. She is really a smart girl.

A getaway for Macie and Mommy

So I took Macie for a few days to the beach just to get away. We stayed the first night by ourselves which if you know me I never stay anywhere by myself! However, it was great spending time with just Macie and watching movies,playing play dough, blocks, collecting sea shells, eating ice cream together etc.! I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with her. She loves the beach! She ran around on the beach in her pjs all morning collecting sea shells and playing in the sand. I just love spending time with her each day.

Silly Girl

Macie is such a silly little girl. She loves playing with all of my jewelry, headbands etc. This is how she decided to decorate herself with all of my headbands.

Macie's obsession with Pet Shops

These little pet shops have been Macie's loves for several months. She has over 80 little pets and about 5 play houses for them. She will sit for hours and play with all the different little animals.

Poor Baby!

With all this cold weather we have been getting I guess Macie's cheeks have been feeling it too! I didn't realize she was having any issues until tonight! It showed up all of a sudden and I thought she may be having a reaction to something she ate. However, when I touched them I realized that they were just REALLY dry. Poor baby! I hope they heal soon!

Couponing!

So I'm really trying to coupon! I'm actually learning that I like doing it! It is sort of like a challenge! I love seeing how much money I save. Tonight Macie and I went to Publix and saved as much as we spent and got 3 reuseable Publix bags for free! I got all of this stuff for $55 and saved $55!!!!! Here is a picture of my little helper and all of our goodies! I know there are people out there that are much better at this than me, but I only started couponing a month ago so hopefully I will get much better!

Snow Day in Florida?

Macie was shivering so bad because I just ripped her out of her warm bed to see the snow because I was afraid it would melt before she woke up. One day she will appreciate it when she learns how unusual it is for it to snow in FL.

I can't believe but it snowed! I have never seen snow in Florida in my life! The forecast said that it was going to but of course I never thought it actually would. Michael and I woke up he looked out the window and said "Kate come look!" There wasn't a lot of snow but it was enough to make me happy! I took Macie outside to see it and she wanted to back inside because it was so cold. Too bad there wasn't more to make a snowman which is what Macie wanted to do ;)
