Macie's first trip to the Temple

playing in the grass

pointing up at Moroni

Tonight we went to the Temple and took Macie for the very first time. My mom and Rick were so sweet to take hours out of there night to meet us there so Michael and I could go inside and do some sealings and they could watch Macie. Since we got there before they did we let Macie run around the Temple grounds. She loved it! She would point up at the top and say Moroni! She was posing like crazy for us to take her picture. It was really funny. She was so happy to be there. I just love that even though she is as little as she is she knows that the temple is the happiest place we can be on earth. After all her posing, running and playing on the Temple grounds my mom, Rick and Natalie took Macie to get ice cream, to feed the geese and then to the church bookstore. Macie got a new Book of Mormon, scripture bag, book mark, pictures for her bag and bracelets. Wow did she have a blast! When we were pulling out of the Temple to go home Macie said "Night,Night Temple I love you"! How sweet! What a special night!

Power of Prayer

Last Saturday Michael and I took Macie to Sea World. Macie had a blast especially since Jayden was there too! She acted normal the whole time. However, when we got home Michael and I noticed some swelling in her face. It continued to get worse and worse and by Sunday morning it looked like she had gotten several teeth pulled. Her face was so swollen that it scared me to death. We immediately took her to the doctor Sunday morning... the doctor didn't really know what it was so she gave her a antibiotic. These pictures are from Tuesday so most of the swelling had gone down. With everybodysprayers Macie recovered within days when the doctor told me it would probably be weeks until she got better. Thank you so much to everybody that kept her in your prayers. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. I am so thankful she is better.

2 days until my due date

So I am 2 days away from my due date! However, I think he will be coming in a week or so. I'm so exhausted and just ready for this little guy to come! I really hope I'm wrong and that he comes this week some time. I sure am excited to meet him. Here is probably the last pregnancy picture I will be taking. This is before church today with only 2 days to go.

A Sprinkle Party

So Ashley Almengor threw me a sprinkle and wow was it amazing! It was a big sister party for Macie but a shower for baby brother! She did such a great job!Macie felt so special and was so excited all night. She had all the kids decorate picture frames, cupcakes and make dragonfly treat bags. I swear it was much better than any of Macie's birthday parties! She loved it! All day she was talking about her party.... she even let me do her hair which has only happened like one other time. She knew that it was a special night for her. I wish I had more pictures of the inside of the house and everything else Ashley did. She really made it special for both Macie and I . Thank you Ashley for everything! I really really had a blast and appreciate it sooo much! You sure are talented! Thank you to everybody that came and for all the fun and cute things for Merrik! I sure am blessed!

Poppie's New Boat

So poppie bought a new boat! Macie loves it... she calls it Macie's boat! She has already been out on it a couple of times and has had a blast! She loved playing in the lake with Kohl! I'm sooo excited for the summer so we can do this more often. What a blast!

Our Silly Girl

Macie loves to dress up right now... not really in dresses it is more shoes, jewelry, hats etc. She ripped this fake pacifier out of her baby dolls mouth and walked around with it thinking it was hilarious. She is also really into stickers right now. She loves putting them on her face and anybody elses that will give her the chance. She is so much fun! The other day she decorate my whole pregnant belly with stickers. I couldn't take them off until after she went to bed because she would keep checking to see if they were there. The next morning she was not happy when she saw that they weren't there.

Get Well Treat

So not only did Ashley throw me an amazing shower... she also made these amazing cupcakes when she heard Macie was sick. Macie has had some sort of infection or something that has caused the side of her faceto swell... I have been worried sick about her. It is so nice to know you have friends that care about you and your kiddies too! Thanks Ashley so much for everything! Your too sweet! Aren't these cupcakes the prettiest you've ever seen??

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We started our Saturday with going downto Tuscawilla park for the PAAS easter egg hunt that they do every year. This was the first year I had ever gone and I thought it was amazing! I couldn't believe everything was free! Macie went on her first pony ride, decorated a cookie, dyed a egg, train ride, played at the park and even participated in an egg hunt. She got about 30 eggs and could not wait to get home to bust them open. She looked sooo cute in the easter bunny hat. What a great event! Wewill definatley gonext year! After we went to the PAAS easter egg hunt we headed down tomy moms house for her easter party. The kids had such a blast playing in the water (except Macie didn't seem to like the cold). My mom stuffed sooo many eggs for the kids so we headed down to the park for an egg hunt.I swear Macie got about 50 eggs or more!!!! They had play dough, stickers and candy in them! Mom mom (this is what Macie calls my mom) also gave her a backpack full of goodies for easter. What a great day we had. Everything was great. My mom like always made wonderful food and made everything so nice.

Easter morning came quickly since we didn't get home until late on Saturday night ... Macie woke up and was excited about her basket. However, she was extremely excited about daddy's basket because she picked out everything in there for him. It was so cute to see her shopping for her daddy. She new exactly what things he likes (pringles, gatorade, new bathingsuit, sweet tarts etc). She seemed to love everything in her basket. After Macie and Michael opened their baskets we ate breakfast and then went outside for a family walk down to the park.We then came home and left again to meet up with Kelly and Justin to see the ducks and have a easter egg hunt by the pond. Macie of course had a blast because Kohl was there. We then came home and watched general conference and Macie took a nap. After her nap we took a short trip to the pool andthen went to the park and then Macie and I dyed easer eggs together. What a wonderful easter!

Our new favorite place

So SeaWorld has become my new favorite place to take Macie. My mom bought me a season pass for both SeaWorld and Aquatica and I love it! Macie is so into Shamu... Every day when I ask her what she wants to do she says "go see Shamu". I bought her a couple of the plastic shamus that she loves to play in the tub with. She loves all the animals and also the little rides. Her favorite animals are definately the killer whales and dolphins. However, she really likes looking at the sharks too! This was the first time Macie has ever gotten on one of the actual animals on a carousel. I have taken her on carousels many many times, but I have always had to ride in the handicapped chair because she was too scared to ride on a horse. However, there was something about a walrus and a shark that changed her ways. She really had a blast and kept making me take her on it.Macie was also really excited to see Dolly the dolphin and could hardly wait her turn to give her a big hug!I have really enjoyed the days that I have been able to share with Macie at SeaWorld. She thinks its the best place in the world! I just love seeing her eyes light up all day when we are there.

The Butterfly Rainforest

Michael and I took Macie to the butterfly rainforest in Gainesville. Macie loved it! A butterfly came and landed on her face and she freaked out! She loved looking at all the different butterflies, fish and turtles in the pond. After we left the rainforest we let Macie explore the rest of the museum. She loved looking at all the different things in the musuem. I was really suprised she was as interested as she was. What a fun day for our family!
