My new hobby!!!

Well I decided it was time to learn how to sew some dresses for Macie. These are the first four that I have made. With some help from Gammie and Paula I was able to get the job done. They aren't perfect and I still have a lot to learn but I loved doing it. Hopefully I will eventually be able to make some more complex dresses. Thank you so much for the help grammie and Paula I really appreciate it!

Baby Book

I have been trying to work on Macie's baby book and was needing to get her hands and feet prints. After about ten tries with each hand and foot I finally got what I was looking for. Even though I got paint all over my shorts, table, in my hair and all over Macie it was worth it!!

Hanging out in the tub

Macie has had a cold for a couple of weeks now so I have been trying to keep her out of the pool. Since she loves the water so much I decided to let her hang out in her bath tub. She always loves playing and splashing around in there even though it is so small.

Close the door!!!!!

So Michael has been telling me ever since we have been married not to leave the door open because I'm letting all of the air conditioning out. Well of course I never listen and leave it wide open to run out to my car every now and then. Well I decided to start shutting the door behind me when I found this crawling up the leg of my chair while I was sewing at the dining room table. It was huge and scary!!! Michael of course starting taking pictures of it while I'm standing on the couch screaming KILL IT!!!!

Macie's 6 month pictures

So I decided to take Macie's 6 month pictures myself. Michael bought our family a new camera and I wanted to try it out. I think that they turned out pretty cute even though I am a month late posting them!

Shopping Cart

I decided that Macie was probably old enough to sit up in the cart by herself. She loved it! She played with her toys through the whole store. I just bought the shopping cart cover but I am in need of a different one. The one I bought doesn't cover the whole cart and Macie kept touching the parts of the cart that weren't covered. Nasty!!! I'm going to purchase a new one at the Ritzy Roo party!

Ritzy Roo Party

Hanging out at Grandma's

All of the kids love going over to grandma's house! They pretty much get to do whatever they want to! Macie loves going for rides on the golf cart. Jayden looks pretty cool in this picture.

Cocoa Beach

This week Macie and I went to Cocoa Beach to the condo with my mom Natalie and Briana. We had such a great time together. My mom and I stayed up late and watched several movies together. It was so nice to be able to relax on the beach. Macie loved playing in the sand and hanging out in her bumbo chair. She was even able to take a quiet nap in the shade. Since she turned six months on the trip I decided to try to buy her some gerber cookies from Publix. Wow! She loved them. Thank you mom for taking us with you we had a great time!!!

Macie Laughing

Macie was in a really good mood this afternoon so I was able to catch a small video of her laughing. I used to have to work really hard to get her to laugh but now she does it all the time. I love that she is getting a personality!

Our weekly ritual

Once a week my mom watches Payton and Rhea and I bring the kids over for some fun in the sun. My mom has fun pool toys for the kids. Today we went for a walk around the neighborhood, swimming and then off to the club for some lunch. My Grandfather is in town from Illinios and really enjoyed seeing the kids. Payton was having a blast jumping to me from the deck into the pool. Macie rode in the font seat of the golf cart like a big girl for the first time by herself. We missed you today Rhea and Jayden!! Just as always we had another great day at grandma's house.

Macie started solids!!

Macie has been smacking her lips and eating cereal like crazy these last couple of weeks. I know I am supposed to wait until she is six months old to start her on baby foods, but I just could not wait. I feel that she has been ready for a couple of weeks now. I started her with carrots. She loved them as you can see in the pictures.

Going for a ride in grandma's car

While I was getting Macie's car seat out of my car to put into my mom's so we could go get Natalie from school she thought it would be funny to buckle Macie in the car like a big girl. Macie liked the idea much more than riding in her car seat. She sat there like a big girl looking really cute. I promise the car was not even on!!!!

Happy Birthday Geoffrey!

We celebrated Geoffrey's 24th birthday tonight at my moms house as a family since Geoffrey is going to be out of town on his actual birthday. Since I am such a great sister I baked him his favorite chocolate cake. We had a really nice dinner and then hung out together as a family. Happy Birthday Geoffrey! We love you!

Wrapping Paper

I know how much Macie likes the paper on the table at the doctors office, so I thought I would let her play with some wrapping paper. She had so much fun! I of course had to make sure she didn't eat it, but his entertained her for quite some time. As she was playing I was snapping pictures. I sound really dumb on the video but she is being really cute so I had to post it. Enjoy!

Our Memorial Day weekend

We spent our Memorial Day weekend down at the lake. We had so much fun hanging out with friends and family. The Paxton's brought their boat and Macie was able to go on her first boat ride. She loved it! We even got smiles every now and then when she was watching whoever was getting pulled behind the boat. Greg pulled Michael and I on the tube together... it was really fun but when I fell off I couldn't stop thinking of the alligator we saw all day swimming across the lake. Thanks for bringing the boat out Stephanie and Greg! It was a blast!

Mother's Day

My mother's day began by waking up to a yummy smell... Michael woke up early and made me breakfast. I then got to open up a couple of gifts that Michael bought me. Macie liked the gift certificate for a 90 minute massage as you can see in the picture she snatched it right out of my hand. Since Macie was sick we hung out at the house and then went to Ocala to see Michael's side of the family. I had such a great mother's day!!!!

Macie is growing up!

Macie is growing up way to fast. I can't believe she is almost six months old. Everybody has told me that she will grow up fast and I just can't believe how fast. I try to cherish every day that I have with her. She is an absolutely amazing baby. Her personality is really starting to show. She loves to stick her tongue out at everybody. Michael and I decided that it was time for Macie to start sleeping in her crib. When she was first born she slept in a bassinet. When she grew out of it we tried the port a crib next to the bed. However, Macie liked our bed much better. It was finally time to get her out of our bed and into her own. I really miss her sleeping in my arms but I know she is much safer in her own crib. Here are a couple of recent pictures of her. Macie's hair is finally starting to grow. I spiked it up so it would show up in the picture.

Bath Time!!!

I finally starting using Macie's rubber ducky bath tub. She loved it!!! She sat up by herself, played in the water and with her toys. It was so easyto use and comfortable for her.

St. Augustine Trip

Michael, Macie and I took a trip to Crescent Beach. Michael was in a wedding on Saturday so we took advantage of the opportunity and spent the rest of the time at the beach. It was so much fun just the three of us. Macie turned 5 months on the trip!!!

Michael graduated!!!

Michael graduated with his four year degree in finance from Florida Southern College! We are so proud of him. Good Job Honey!!!! We Love You!
