Macie's 1st Fishing Trip

Michael and I took Macie on her very first fishing trip! We took her to this little pond that Michael knew about here in Ocala that had a lot of little fish. We soon found out that there was also many ducks and turtles. It was great minus all the duck droppings! Macie loved catching little fish with her daddy and also made friends with many ducks. We all had a blast together. What a fun day!

I couldn't believe that these turtles were in the water. It was so crazy because it started coming up from the bottom of the water and I could have sworn it was a lake monster. They were pretty hungry so they hung around the whole time.

Macie loves her new doggie! He has been the best dog I've ever had so far. He is potty and crate trained and absolutely LOVES children. Michael renamed him Dudly! Dudly and Macie are BEST friends. He is a great addition to our family. Macie walks around the house saying doggie all day long! He even lets her push him in her stroller! He is great! And they are great together!

Triathlon

This weekend I participated in the Trek Womens Triathlon at Disney! I am so glad that I signed up for it and did it! I almost let the opportunity pass me by, but about 37 days before the race I decided to sign up! I am really glad that I ended up doing it. It gave me something to work towards and complete. I feel like I accomplished something huge! However, it was not easy at all. When the race started I got in the water to swim and got kicked in the face several times and swallowed a bunch of water. I then got off course from there. There was a lady swimming next to me named Theresa that helped me through the whole swim. I couldn't have done it without her. I completed it without a noodle or holding onto the boat but it was hard. At one point a lady was holding onto the back of my legs kind of pulling me under! I then started freaking out again. It was like swimming with a huge school of fish. I definately lost a lot of time in the water but I was so excited when I got out of the water. I would love to do another one of these next year to improve my time and swim! I am thankful my in laws never gave up on me joining them in the race. It took several months but I gave in and did it with them! Thank you girls for all your help and support! I couldn't have done it without you!

Macie's Weekend

Here are some of the things Macie got to do while mommy was busy with the triathlon! Play with grandma, ducks and go to the park! Some of her very favorite things to do! She also had a great weekend!

Macie got to play at Missy's house the other night and Payton showed Macie her new bathing spot! Macie thought this was the coolest thing ever! She immediately started taking her clothes off when she saw what Payton was doing! She had a blast playing in the sink! I will definately have to let her do this at home some times.

Macie's new favorite restaurant!

Macie's favorite part about our day was watching the 40 minute Nemo musical at Animal Kingdom! I thought it was a 10 minute show but I was wrong! I couldn't believe she sat there for 40 minutes without fussing or anything! She loved it! She held onto my leg the whole show. It was so sweet! We were in the very first row so Macie could see really well!

Macie's other favorite thing we did was ride the train around Magic Kingdom! Macie loves trains right now so this was right up her alley! She kept saying choo choo choo choo!!!! Look how cute her lips look in these two pictures.

I tried to take Macie on all the rides she was able to go on. The only ride I didn't wait for was Peter Pan because there was a 30 minute wait! If you look at the picture where Macie is climbing through the chains that is a look at what she did while we waited for almost every ride! Wandered around! I had a blast with her at Disney! She has grown up a lot since the last time she was there and really enjoyed it this time. She got to pick out a shirt that her grandma gave her some money for a balloon on the way out! It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be taking her without Michael. Kristin and Allie helped me at the restaurants and on and off the buses a ton! Thank you girls! We all went to Rainforest Cafe as soon as we got there for some lunch and Macie LOVED the restaurant! She was so into the animals and all the fish in the aquariams! This is definately her favorite restaurant! I will try to take her back there again soon!

Sweetest Thing Ever!

I just went to Publix to get a few groceries. Macie has a rash and was not feeling well so I just ran in there for a few minutes. I went to the checkout lane and they wouldn't let me use Michael's card. I was extremely frustrated! I didn't know what to do. The lady at Publix was rude and I had a sick baby and didn't want to have to come all the way back to Publix. But I had no choice! On my way out the lady in the next lane paid for all of my groceries!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! It was the sweetest thing a stranger has done for me. I started to tear up and just thanked her! I am so thankful there is still Christ like people in the world today!

IN NEED OF HELP!!!

I am looking for a new doctor for Macie!!!! I need help! I have heard that Dr. Kerns is good... but her office has been giving me trouble with records, so it has made me think I should look around before i decide to go back to her. This is hard because Macie's DR in Lake Mary is the BEST and I think I am going to have a hard time replacing him. Please let me know if you know of any GREAT doctors in Ocala. I want to find the BEST! :) Thanks
