Decorating our tree

Before

Mommy and Macie.. mommy 5 months prego!

Macie decorated the whole bottom by herself!
Macie's decorating job ;)

The finished product!
My favorite kind of Christmas trees are family trees! I love trees with all kinds of different ornaments on them. We all had a blast decorating the tree together tonight. Macie decorated the whole bottom. I considered moving some of the ornaments around because there are more than one on a branch and they hang almost to the floor... however, we decided to keep it the way she deocrated it! She did such a great job! Since Macie is into stars we bought a star for the top of our tree! Wow it sure does make it look great! I just love the way our tree turned out this year! I love that Macie can help decorate the tree now!

Picking out the perfect tree!

Last night we took Macie to pick out a Christmas tree! Macie loves Christmas trees and notices them everywhere. She picked out the perfect tree. She was sooo excited about it that she kept pointing at it and saying Christmas tree all the way home because she could see it through the sunroof since it was on top of our car. When we brought it home she kept doing little flips all over the floor and saying Christmas tree! She loves her Christmas tree and I'm so excited to let her help decorate it!

Thanksgiving Morning

Macie with the oreo pie she helped make!

Sneaking a few oreos and jumping on the bag to crush them up!

Watching the parade

Macie and I spent Thanksgiving morning just the two of us! Michael was off playing football with some guys from chruch so I took advantage of my time with Macie. We turned the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade on and then cooked in the kitchen for a couple of hours! She got to smash up the oreos by jumping on the bag and also loved helping me put things in the mixer. She is such a help! I love her being in the kitchen with me. Every now and then she would take a break and watch the parade! She absolutely went crazy when they showed the huge Mickey balloon!

Gingerbread Houses

This year we continued the family tradition of decorating gingerbread houses! However, instead of decorating them Thanksgiving night we decorated them a few days before Thanksgiving! It was just the girls! It was so much fun talking about Christmas and just being together!
I think this should be our new tradition.... just the girls decorating the houses! This picture was taken around 1am so that is why we all look so tired!

Macie's getting in the Christmas Mood!

Today at Publix Macie noticed some little window clings for Christmas. Since they were only $2 I went ahead and let her get them! She soon forgot about them so I thought I could pull them out in a couple of weeks and then she could decorate her window. However, she really didn't forget! When she saw them again tonight she said "open it mommy" so I did and I let her decorate her playroom window early for Christmas! She had so much fun doing it! She also thought it was fun to stand on her toy chest to do it! The pics aren't that great but oh well!!!

Picnic on the Playset!

Today I had a VERY busy day! In fact my whole week is busy! However, in the middle of the day I made sure Macie and I had time for a picnic at the park! We actually ate our lunch on the playset! She loved it! She would take a bite and then go down the slide and then return for another bite over and over again! It was a lot of fun! I just love that every day I get to spend it with her! Even if it is just running errands or her screaming not to take a nap! I'm just happy to be with her!

Halloween Night

We think she did pretty good for a first timer!

Running up to each house!

This house had a HUGE stuffed horse by the door that Macie loved!!! It was about 4 feet tall!!! The kids went crazy. The people were so nice and let the kids sit on it! However, Macie only liked to pet it!
Looking at mommy and pointing at the candy... this was the first house so I think she was wanting to check with me if it was ok to get some candy ;)

There was a lot of falling ears throughout the night!

We had a blast halloween! After the gator game we all went up to the club in my moms nighborhood and ate dinner together. A spooky buffet... green mashed potatoes etc. ! It was very kid friendly! As soon as we were done eating we hit the road for some trick or treating! Macie loved trick or treating. We took her to about 20 different houses! By the end of the night her bucket was full all the way to the top! I think she would have gone all night if we let her. She ran up and down the roads, rode in the wagon and just had a blast! We just love her fun outgoing personality!

Britton's party

I think this is my favorite picture I have of Jayden and Macie! I just think it is so sweet for some reason!

Playing with her favorite (payton's dollhouse)

My silly horse!

I was obviously in the way of the TV when taking this pic!

Macie was sick Monday and Tuesday so when Wednesday rolled around and she was better I swung by Target and picked up this costume last minute! I can't believe how cute it turned out! I just love it! She even wore it to the Eustis ward trunk or treat! She kept it on all night! She loves to just hold her horse in her lap! What a great buy! Macie had a blast at Britton's party! Dancing, music, trick or treating etc.! What a great party Missy!
