Ghost Milk Shakes/ Family Traditions

I just LOVE general conference weekend. A few stake conferences ago I remember a sister talking about making family traditions for conference so each member of the family looks forward to general conference each year. I thought about what I wanted to do with my family since my family is still young.... a year or so later I think I have established my family general conference traditions. This will definately be added to the fall list since it really only fits around halloween time. I think that the ghost milk shakes are too cute! I will work on my faces and try to be a little more creative next time. Macie loved her milkshake! She kept looking at the face laughing! I love coming up with new family traditions! I am so glad that it is conference weekend. I just love general conference. Tomorrow is homemade cinnamon rolls and homemade pizza! Yummy!

The end to a wonderful trip!

On Sunday we went to church with Gayle and Fred and then had family dinner at their house! Fred cooked amazing salmon and Gayle cooked awesome potatoes! I loved getting to know each of their girls and thier families. They were all so sweet and I had a blast getting to know them. This was such an amazing vacation. I wish it didn't end so soon! Michael served his mission in an amazing place and also met a couple wonderful families. We were able to stay at Gayle and Fred's house the whole time and were so thankful they had us in their home. I just loved getting to know them. Michael loves them all dearly and talks about them often so now I feel like I am kind of part of the group! We already miss you all and wish so badly that you lived closer. Macie LOVED their dog Mr. Beasley! I thought his hair cut looked like Dora! He is really cute! Thank you again for everything. Gayle and Fred you made our vacation amazing!!!!

Day 3 Ferry Boat Ride

After the brunch and the zoo I was dying to go on a ferry boat ride. Gayle and Fred were so sweet to go way out of the way and take us on one. Macie loved riding on the big boat which is what she reffered to it as. What a neat way of transportation. I just loved riding on the ferry boat!

Day 3 Brunch and the Zoo

Macie and Gi Gi
You think that would hurt!

Macie of course loved the zoo! She saw her first real giraffe and zebra. Macie loved seeing all the animals. She kept asking to see the Monkeys! She is such a sweet little girl! I love her sooo much! Macie let Fred tote her around the zoo almost the whole time. She really liked him holding her!

Brunch at Alki Beach

We went to an amazing brunch at Salty's in Alki beach! Michael was sooo excited about the all you can eat shrimp, dungeness crab etc.! Macie especially liked the marshmellows dipped in chocolate from the chocolate fountain. Thank you Fred and Gayle so much! We really enjoyed having brunch with you two!

After the children's musuem we went up to Mount Erie! What a beautiful view from the top! Macie was totally posing by the tree and on the rock. It was so peaceful and beautiful up there!

Driving the bus
This is only the second children's musuem I have ever taken Macie to but it topped the one in Atlanta! It was absolutely amazing! It had traines, a tree house, a bus to play in, airplane, fir truck, ferry boat, play ground etc. etc! We spent almost 2 hours here and kept busy the whole time! Macie had a blast! I think this was her favorite destination we took her to in Washington! We all really had a good time together!
