Trunk or Treat

Macie taking steps!!!!! We are so proud of you Macie!!!

Macie, Michael and I went to the trunk or treat at the church tonight. It was so much fun! At the last minute I ran to Joanne Fabrics today looking for a costume for Macie because I didn't want her to mess up her ladybug costume for Halloween night. My mom found this witch costume for Macie and I got it 60% off. I thought it was just ok, but it turned out to be sooo cute. I think that I might even like it better than her ladybug costume. I just knew that she wouldn't wear the hat so I sewed straps on it and she wore it on her back all night. I then took the ribbon off of the hat and made her a bow. I think she looked pretty darn cute! Macie also started taking a few steps this week. The most steps she has taken without falling is about 10. She is getting better and better every time she tries to walk. I managed to get some pictures of her taking some steps tonight at the trunk or treat!

FHE Painting Pumpkins

Tonight we let the kids paint their pumpkins for family home evening. They actually liked the idea of painting themselves and eating the paint even better. I think the kids had a great time!

Primary Activity "Our Faith, Soaring to New Heights"

As a primary we had an activity here at the farm on Saturday. Our theme was "Our faith, Soaring to New Heights". We had all kinds of activities and rotations for the kids. The main activity was having each child write a part of their testimony on a balloon and at the end of the activity we let them all go together. Thank you so much for all of the help everybody!!!! Especially Brother Valentich for cooking the Food!!! I think it turned out great!!!!

Fudge Pop and Swing

Fudge pops and swinging are two of Macie's favorite things. After a fun morning at the farm I decided to give Macie a fudge pop and push her in her swing to cool her off. She had a blast! I love her little personality! She laughed and smiled the whole time.

Long and Scott Farm Trip

We all went out to the Scott and Long farm on Saturday morning. There was so many fun things to do there. We went on a hay ride, corn maze etc. We had a blast even though it was so hot!

Cypress Gardens

Missy, Rhea and I took the kids to Cypress Gardens on Friday!!! We had such a great time. This was the first time any of us had ever been there. It was the best park!!! There was so much for the kids to do there, even Macie!!! We went on roller coasters, slides, trains etc. There was no wait at all. This is by far my new favorite park for kids!!! What makes it even better is that it was a $10 day :)!

Jonathon's Graduation

Today Jonathon graduated!!!! He is officially a Doctor!!!! I never thought that I would get choked up because I don't cry that much, but I gotta say that I did. It was so great to see somebody that you love so much accomplish something so great!! We are so proud of you Jonathon. We know how hard you have worked. We love you!!!
